Если вы используете Eclipse, и ваш проект будет отмечен красным восклицательным знаком после удаления баннера android-support-v4, закройте и перезапустите Eclipse, и он должен выпрямиться. (Или вы можете попытаться просто закрыть и снова открыть проект.)
