Я начал с кода libusb от http://android.serverbox.ch/ в качестве базы для ПК и кода DemoKit и документации для Android на стороне Android.
Кажется, что они обсуждают тон соединения, и интерфейс "заявляется", но умирает от фактической попытки массового переноса. В OSX ошибка: -5 (LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_FOUND), а в Ubuntu Linux (с правами root) ошибка -1 (LIBUSB_ERROR_IO). (Самые последние выпуски каждого с самым последним libusb 1.0.8).
