Я пытаюсь написать настраиваемый составной вид, состоящий из TextView и EditText, _compound_view.xml _:

и это класс, расширяющий LinearLayout:

Теперь, если я использую 2 из этих View в своем _activity_main.xml _:

а в коде действия я только раздуваю RelativeLayout, не управляя onSaveInstanceState:

super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
}
тогда, когда я пишу что-то во втором EditText и вращаю свое устройство, в EditText первого пользовательского View появляется тот же text.
Почему такое поведение происходит?

Я решил проблему, удалив android: id и используя android: тег для EditText в составном_view.xml, а затем управляя сохранением состояния EditText в классе CompoundView:
