Ошибка: сбой проверки: изображения должны быть видимыми, рельсы-5.0, скрепки-5

Пока я пытался отправить форму, произошла ошибка: Validation failed: Images imageable must exist и отображение того же new.html.erb.

Если я прокомментирую file field в new.html.erb. Продукт успешно создается.

В рельсах 5, belongs_to убедитесь, что соответствующая модель должна существовать. Например, в этой полиморфной ассоциации модель изображения имеет belongs_to :imageable, а модель продукта имеет has_many :images. Итак, здесь, в new.html.erb, мы создаем образ, но соответствующий продукт не существует, поэтому error Image imageable must exist.

Решение

Добавьте optional: true, создав ассоциацию belong_to в модели изображения.

Модель изображения теперь выглядит следующим образом:
